Lost Pet Resources
One in three pets will go missing in their lifetime. To help pet owners reunite with lost pets, we provide free and low cost microchips as well as free pet ID tags at our public clinics. We also strive to have leashes, collars, harnesses, and pet carriers available for those who need them. We hope that the following suggestions and resources will help you prevent pet loss or to find your lost pet.
Check with your local shelters and veterinary clinics to report your lost pet. Be sure to check back with shelters at least every three days while you are searching. CLICK HERE for more tips as well as a list of area shelters.
If your pet is microchipped, alert the microchip company as well as the clinic or organization that implanted the microchip. If you are not sure which company your pet’s microchip was produced by, CLICK HERE to find out.
If you adopted your pet from a shelter or rescue, alert that organization.
