Weekly roundup
Improvements & Developments
This month has been very eventful for SVO and our outreach. We usually only have 6 clinics for the month, but this month it was bumped to 8. We are really excited to increase the amount of clinics per month, that way people don't have to wait too long to be seen in between treatments.

Weekly Highlight:
This week we are highlighting one of the newer members of the team, Lori!
She has been married for 11 years to her husband Chirag, and they have 3 children. Her oldest is 9 and she has a set of twins who are 6! She has a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles named Milo and a pair of guinea pig ladies named cinnamon and sugar. Her family moved from NJ to Washington about 3 years ago.
Lori is a (recently) licensed vet tech. Her background includes time as a zookeeper, professional dog trainer (KPA CTP) and wildlife rehabilitator. She is Fear Free certified, and cpr certified for both pets and humans. Lori has always loved helping animals and people. “I’ve even worked as a disaster inspector for FEMA. I was drawn to SVO when I was doing research for a paper for my vet tech degree and read an article about Hanna and the amazing work she is doing on a veterinary website.”
When asked “Which one of the SVO pillars "People, Pets, Love" are you drawn to the most?” Lori responded with:
“This is hard! Pets for sure, but it’s all 3 really, because it’s love of pets that has changed me as a person and been part of my life Every step of the way. Love of pets and animals has gotten me through tough times and I know what that bond means to people. I’m so lucky to get to help keep pets healthy for their people so they can all enjoy life together.”
We are so lucky to have Lori as a part of the team!
