Seattle Veterinary Outreach relies on the dedication of volunteers, both with and without veterinary experience, to fulfill our mission of providing care to pets and their people in need. Whether you’re a licensed veterinary professional or simply someone passionate about helping animals and their families, there’s a place for you on our team. From assisting with clinics and administrative tasks to engaging in community outreach, every volunteer plays a vital role in making our work possible. Together, we’re building healthier, stronger communities—one pet at a time.
Your donation allows us to continue serving our unhoused neighbors and their animal companions.
Every contribution helps us bring care, support, and hope to under-resourced pets and their families in our community.
Support Seattle Veterinary Outreach by providing essential pet supplies through our Amazon wishlist, adopting a local pet store for donations, or volunteering at our Resources tent during outreach clinics. Our resource area offers pet food, collars, leashes, toys, and seasonal items like blankets and rain jackets. These resources are critical in relieving pet owners’ financial stress, and helping them care for their companions while meeting their own needs. Your contributions directly and meaningfully impact pets and their families in our community.
It keeps me sane. The fact that (SVO) allows me to not spend half of my Social Security check on veterinary care really helps. I like the fact that you guys are making efforts to come out every single week, you are mobile, and you have a network to refer people to (for additional human services).
I moved through different hostels and shelters, but due to my medical conditions I could not do the physical labor they required, so I always got kicked out. I got my dog Garth one year ago. I spent this year on the streets, because having Garth made it harder to stay at places.…. but Garth really helps me. Having a service dog keeps me functional. It keeps me sane. The fact that (SO) allows me to not spend half of my Social Security check on veterinary care really helps. My dog is my everything and I can remember sitting outside on the curb of a vet’s office and bawling my eyes out because I couldn’t afford the bill. SO has changed everything. From 1-10 I would give the care here a 20! Everyone has been so welcoming and I am fully confident in the treatment that Savage is getting.
